KL Steven has strived to develop long-term relationships with our many vendors who provide special processing of the parts and components that we manufacture. These vendors provide process such as heat treatment, plating, special finishing, grinding, welding and fabrication. Having been in the aerospace and high technology manufacturing business for over 50 years, we have developed a large base of vendors that we know and trust. These relationships aid us in insuring quality end products while meeting our customer's schedule.
- Approved, High Quality Sources
We can insure qualification and certification of our vendor processes to major aerospace and federal specifications. Because of our large vendor base, meeting our customer's approved source requirements is not a problem.
- Raw Material Sources
Sourcing of hard to find metals, materials and components is something we specialize in. Our procurement department actively maintains a database of over 1000 sources for materials and processing. Test lab certification of materials and processes is available.
- Manufacturing and Fabrication
At times we utilize our proven sources for operations that are beyond our "in-house" capabilities. Stamping, forming, fabrications, and swiss machining are some of the services we can provide through our proven sub-contractors. As always, the same stringent quality requirements are upheld just as they are for manufacturing that we do "in-house".
