Differential gaging of screw threads is crucial to providing the highest quality threads to our customers. This is one more reason that KL Steven Co. is a unique source for producing threaded components that are guaranteed to meet the highest quality standards.

Not all machine shops use differential gaging, or are even aware of the shortcomings of go/nogo gaging. We also use special thread charts in our optical comparators, which give direct readings of thread lead and flank angles. In this way, we verify every aspect of a screw thread by measuring each individual dimension of the thread.
