Traceability is crucial in aerospace manufacture. When appropriate, K.L. Steven Company maintains records that include traceability of metal back to the original raw materials and country of origin. Original mill certificates are kept on file for at least 10 years and in most cases for 25 years. Records on individually numbered lots or serialized parts are archived for at least 25 years. Traceability is one of many areas in which we demonstrate our ability to provide for the special needs of our customers.

All gaging at KL Steven is Traceable to National Standards by means of precision gage block sets, which are OEM inspected and certified each year.
